What day is it?

Lots of sitting but doing sort of day.

We are very lucky to receive voucher gifts for different things and this afternoon Mr C and I attempted to sync diaries and get something’s booked.  Fairly successful.  

Last Christmas….yes, last!  Lucy bought us a voucher for an overnight stay in a hotel of our choice.  I did try and book earlier in the year but the dates didn’t work for us so they extended the time on the voucher…. Only I deleted the email stating that.  I contacted Virgin Experience and , luckily, they had the details I needed.  So a hotel break is booked for a couple of weeks.

For my birthday Lucy gave me a voucher to go and see the musical, SIX.  I know she would also very much like to see it too so her Christmas present from us was to join us.  That was booked for the beginning of March.

I contacted a venue and waiting to hear back with regards to the voucher Josh gifted us.  Another voucher from Lucy had to be called but they advised to call again tomorrow as they couldn’t take bookings as their site was down.

We also booked a little cottage to stay in during Josh’s wedding in April.

In the summer we celebrate our 40th anniversary and are considering a 3 week road trip of France and Spain and spent some time planning a route we would like to do.

So a lazy but successful day.
