Wet again

What strange weather we are having. Living on west coast Scotland, we expect wet weather, especially in winter, but it is also extremely mild. It’s after 10.00pm as I write this and it is still 10C outside. No doubt the blanket of grey cloud is insulating us.
Fourteen years ago we moved to Mull just before Christmas in the middle of an exceptionally cold snap with temperatures consistently below zero which lasted over a month. Quite a contrast to this winter.
