Boxing Day

The hunt always meets on Boxing Day at the pub in the village down the road.  The ground is very muddy and the weather very drizzly and mild so the turnout wasn't as many as some years although people flocked to see the horses and hounds.  After lunch we decided to go for a walk just as the huntsman was following the hounds who had lost the scent of the trail outside the house came sniffing around for quite a few minutes and then scampered off in another direction

Another family day at T and K's with the grandchildren and other grandparents and aunt.  It was very relaxed and we ended up playing charades with the children.
