Postcard from Weilheim

We woke up to another cold, misty, beautiful morning before meeting up with Mike & Susi for brunch, Weißwurst and Weissbier no less and lots of chat of course, both Mike and me having got over our colds remarkably quickly. Then a wee bit of shopping for essentials: red wine, Prosecco, cheese, mince. Simple fare.
Then a wee rest before heading out to Greither 9, the only proper pub in town but which only opens a couple of days a week and only for a few weeks each year, including this week. So more of a hobby than a business but (maybe because of that) a great place for a few beers and some good music. We went early and stayed a couple of hours, that did us just fine. The town is looking quite nice in the dark.
