We're at the stage ....

..... in the holiday proceedings where we have resorted to drinking decorations !  To be fair they were a present from T a good few years ago which I had hung on the tree a couple of times then forgot them. I'd put them in T's whisky cupboard and he unearthed them today. I'm pleased to report they are still tasty. 

A left this morning - it's been fun  having her to stay and the house seems quite.  

I got on with washing and reclaiming my time tidying the spare room followed by some family history research (which seems common for me at this time of year from looking back over my blips).

More work was done on jigsaw - bottom half is almost complete and so time has come to start on sky. This will be trickier and require a change in strategy to shade sorting followed by shape sorting.
