Gordy

Today’s blip is a mash up of Gordy on his bike and the street in Edinburgh where we went after we had been to see Gordy’s wife. Their two children died from sudden cardiac arrest as teenagers and Gordy died on Christmas Day. He was a great and loyal friend and always the most considerate and funny guy in the room. A wonderful human being who was given a real kicking by life. He was still joking with the hospital staff at the start of this week. In fact this is the least Gordy like photo of Gordy I could find but he was in training to do a long bike ride to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and I took him for a climb up Redstone Rig. How we laughed (much later when we got back to mine). It was a pleasure knowing you Gordy.
