grey and foggy

The view across the road has looked like this all day - grey, foggy, cold, and damp. I think it has a winter beauty though, the trees are still lovely shapes without their leaves and there’s a pale touch of green from the grass. Fed the birds many times today. Another rather lazy day watching telly and this afternoon I was on the internet looking for a present for Kathy’s birthday which is next week. She said she’d like a scarf but not a woolly one so I’ve found her a beautiful silk one, UK made, which will probably arrive on Monday. It’s beautifully colourful.
