Faldonside

I encountered this picture while visiting J's friend B who lives in supported accommodation in Galashiels. B has a connection with Faldonside which emerged in conversation and I latched onto this as I know the area from walks and staying in two holiday cottages. The loch is a favourite place of mine and there are splendid views up the Tweed valley from the other side of this house. Here is a blip of the house from my stay in a cottage nearby.
 
I've got several extras today as I'm trying to use some up because they will disappear in less than a week's time: J and I started the day with a local walk through a community woodland and streets in the village and there's a photo of a door with wreath, also a beech leaf which I was (unsuccessfully) trying to get my phone to identify. I headed for home after our visit to B and Lexi is in the last extra.
