My third meaningful tree decoration is this strange looking angel?? which my mother in law gave me about 29 years ago. She said she had bought it with her when she fled Poland during WW2. Since then it has always been displayed on our mantelpiece at Christmas. When I put it up this year I said to my (unobservant!) husband  that I always thought it was a lovely story and despite it being very tatty it would always be put out.
He said he'd never seen it before! Give me strength!
