Pink cosmos

Today the temperature reached 39C in Sydney. We went over to some friends in Matraville, about 10 minutes away by Über, to catch up with them and to help them eat their leftovers from Christmas Day. All very delicious.

We got home and it was blowing a hoolie. It's a wonder the cosmos was motionless long enough to take a photo. I like that it's pink. The combination of a high wind and high temperatures makes me fear fires. Cross everything that it doesn't happen.
