Boxing Day

For many years we went to M & Js on Boxing Day for soup, friendship and wine. When COVID came we had to stop and then of course M died in 2022 so Nigel and I decided to take over. So 14 it was for Boxing Day lunch :)
All very easy - lentil soup made last week and left overs along with cold meats and cheeses. Just a lovely relaxing day.
Ended after several Aardman films ( Immy loves Wallace and Grommit) by catching up on th Midwives Christmas Special. Heart warming as always. There were a few empty places in our hearts both yesterday and today.
