Bringing Joy

5 or 6 bunches of these were purchased earlier in the week, I was told.  1 of them contained 2 stems with no flowers on.   I imagine they will be returning to the store at some point.

I was expecting Pa to be.coming to lunch but yesterday evening he said that he was.going back to my sisters as her FIL was there and it would be better conversation.

Rude in many ways but my sister and I are accustomed to his ways.  I told him that I'd visit in the morning and he said he would, in that case, put the heating on so I wouldn't be cold.   It had been on briefly when I arrived but at 17 degrees wasn't comfortable for extended sitting.

Before my visit I swam with the bobbers.  The water.was 7 degrees and very still.  Also not comfortable for an extended stay.
