A Misty, moist morning
… and the Jackdaws were setting up home. There is a book that we used to share with teachers which is called something like, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’. Maybe the Jackdaws have read it, because this activity of nest building and provider is very much a family affair.
I managed a short walk up to the playground in the afternoon. We did see some sun and for a brief time the mist cleared but unfortunately I didn’t feel too good at that time, so my walk was in the mist.
I struggled a bit in the early evening, whether it was after my food, or more likely that the meds had stopped giving me the boost. I felt I was hanging on till 8pm so I could take the next pill.
I watched ‘Carol’ on Netflix, which is beautifully filmed and acted - very Saul Leiter in its colour rendering and use of light. Gg flagged it up for me, asking if I’d seen it and I thought I had but I think my visual memory was from reading the book.
