Boxing Day

This afternoon my two sons, who are here in Chania at the moment, and Sweetheart and I had our supper together, as programmed beforehand.  
Sweetheart had prepaired the foods two days ago and we all enjoyed his "Moussaka" and "Gemista" lots. 
Prior to our arrival, my sons managed to make a quick visit to "Oropedio Omalos" (what's a plain at the hight of 1100 mtrs) and there they enjoyed the snow capped mountains... finally, during the past few days, when it rained lots at ours, snow fell on the mountains of Crete (and a lot more on the many high mountains of Mainland Greece... f.i. Parnassos, what's close to Delphi and a loved ski-area for the Athenians, as it's nearest to that city. 

My hiking son is to depart tomorrow again, so for him this was a last opportunity this year to get up to Omalos and the snow and see his acquaintances at the Omalos taverna and hotel; I loved to hear that they enjoyed it all. 

Oh dear, Xmas Days 2024 are almost done... Wishing you all happy festives days till Januari 6th, when it's Theofania here in Greece and many other places where the Orthodox Church resides.
