Lounging around

We have been resting on the sofa today. I made a chicken curry with the leftover chicken, and that was definitely the most energetic thing I did all day.. We did not go for a walk because it was misty, and Steve has. hurt his wrist (he doesn't know how).

We've watched some good TV though, and I've done a bit of telephone support for various friends who are not having it easy. 

The willow star that I made on 16th Dec (see blip of that date) has had LED lights threaded through it, and can be seen on the mantelpiece in today's shot. I like the finished result, but the process was fiddly, not something I'd definitely do again. 

We did not hear any shooting today. Usually there is a great deal of noise from a nearby woodland, but we didn't hear anything. This may have been because we were watching The Big Sleep, or maybe some pheasants lived to see another day
