Perrott's Folly

I'd woken up ridiculously early this morning, also feeling ridiculously energetic, so by 7.15 a.m. I was up and out hoping to get some more of the A-Z walking completed.. 

I decided to head towards the City Centre, about 6 miles away, as there are several small areas I'd wanted to finish off on one page, some around the canals area (which is always best tackled early) and another bit by Edgbaston Reservoir. Also somewhere with a higher chance of finding somewhere to have a coffee stop on Boxing Day! 

I did like this glimpse of Perrott's Folly shrouded with fog, framed by the wintery trees, in the half an hour or so after sunrise.
