O Christmas Tree

This glass tree was a present from Eric and Pauline. It's beautiful and is the only tree in my house this year.

I had a lazy morning, catching up on household chores. I went to see Margret after lunch. She was on good form. I stayed beside her while she walked to the toilet and back to her chair. There is definitely progress in her walking.

We chatted, mainly about all the people we know who are ill. It's a long list. Kate was hoping that Jenny would be transferred from the Freeman to Hexham soon, but Jenny had a big nose bleed this morning. There is no definite news.

Liz and I had a long phone call.

I've done a bit of knitting. Now I'm going to have a salad and watch some TV. I've missed nearly everything I fancied watching. Isn't is good that we can play catch up?
