Christmas Day on Latrigg

Searching FB for a walk on Christmas Day we stumbled across a post by a guy called Jay Mistry who was inviting all and sundry for 3 walks over Christmas.  Christmas Eve had passed so we joined him on the Christmas day outside Moot Hall for a walk up Latrigg. We were not alone as 82 other people came along and a massive group set off along the old railway line and eventually turned off up towards Latrigg on the usual route. As we approached the summit the views were enhanced by the patchy sunshine on the side of Catbells. A lovely way to spend part of Christmas day.
