Boxing Day

Mr HB's #1 son called in this afternoon for a quick visit on his way back to Bristol.  He would have stayed much longer but the mist which has be hanging around all day suddenly decided to descend with a vengeance.  His daughter then popped in bearing gifts.  Always lovely to see her.

After they'd left I braved the very damp conditions for a breath of fresh air and a tramp round the block. Not much about to photograph but this lone tree in someone's garden summed up the grey weather, but it has been a very nice relaxing Boxing Day.

Back home, feet up and enjoying The Glenn Miller Story on the TV.  Seen it many times but love the music, the saxes particularly but oh it does have such a sad ending.
