Boxing Day

Tradition is that Jemma calls round and I cook, and we natter and watch football. I've been vegetarian today - Jemma is vegan, but I've had some non-vegan chocolate. I cooked some haricot beans in a chilli tomato sauce, roasted veg with spinach & thyme, and red cabbage. 

Because she is walking back, I went to find her a torch. I checked my best torch, and it was working, but I didn't know how long the batteries had been in it so I decided to change them - in taking it apart I broke it so it's in the bin, and she's taken another torch.

This is her hat as she prepared to head out with my previously second-best torch, but now my best torch.
