High jinks in Ventnor and a Blipmeet

This morning, we went for a gentle stroll into Bonchurch, the charming village adjoining Ventnor, and bumped into Chrissie -  Blipper CMBlow! She directed us to see the pond and delightful Norman church. 
By noon, we were back in Ventnor to see the traditional Boxing Day swim, where despite the large crowd of onlookers, we managed to catch up with Chrissie again, which was lovely.
Later, one of the waitresses serving afternoon tea, said she had been one of the hardy swimmers, taking a quick dip before her shift. 
Shortly before sunset, we took another  walk to Steephill Cove and back, which proved very enjoyable as it was so  quiet and peaceful.

We've had such a wonderful Christmas in Ventnor.
