Fog and sun
This morning it was very foggy but then the sun tried to come through and it looked so beautiful so it's my blip. Shortly afterwards it retreated to just fog again.
I made a soup with veggies from the fridge and the leftovers from our (very large) plated meals from yesterday. I try never to waste food. Then went into Oswestry and took F a bowl of it.
I walked through the park to meet the family at St' Oswald's Church. It was very strange, the park was in thick fog while the church which is almost next door was blessed with sun and blue sky.
The church was doing a teddy zipwire. For a donation, families could climb up to the top of the tower to take their teddies then go down to watch them descend on the zipwire. I have put an extra of a teddy on the wire - it's not one of ours but a larger toy that makes a better photo!
Afterwards I opened the car windows to let in the fresh air in case I'm still infectious and F and I went to the Old Racecourse above the town for a walk. It's high above the town and was in sun, we had a lovely walk on what felt like a spring day! We could see the strange sight of the town below swathed in a blanket of fog (extra). It looks like a big lake but is the fog.
We saw a peregrine falcon above, good hunting to be had in the sun. It was good to see a red kite too.
Driving back down to town, we went back out of the sun into cold, damp fog - such a contrast
I found it hard to decide which photo to use as my blip then other days I'm scrabbling around for something but that's blipping!
