Punk Blue Tit!

Christmas Day 2024                        (backblip)

Loved this little Blue Tit perched high in the bush.

I think a gust of wind had caught its head feathers! It just looked as if it was trying to be a punk rocker!

A beautiful day with plenty of sunshine & blue sky! A real treat .... reasonably mild too .... just right for a lovely wander this afternoon :-)

Saw quite a lot of birds including a Yellowhammer, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Kestrel & Redshank as well as several small birds we often see.

We also saw the first Redwings this season (Extra) .... they flew over us & landed in some trees.

It had begun to cloud over as we returned so we were pleased we had gone out when we did :-)

All in all a very pleasant day ... hope you all had a good Christmas Day too.
