After a day indoors, keeping out of the storms yesterday, the children were out in the garden early chasing balloons and creating obstacle courses. It was lovely to be back out in the sunshine again and the butterflies and bees we out in abundance. It was good to hear a report a few days ago that their numbers are up this year (and also that wasp numbers are down). Our garden certainly reflects that; there must have been over a dozen butterflies on our buddleia and too many bees to count.
