Christmas Day Celebrations

Yesterday worked out really well. I took the train to go for Christmas lunch at my daughter's! My grandson kindly met me at the station in the car. I appreciated that as it's all uphill!

We had a traditional meal of roast chicken, homemade sage and onion stuffing and cranberry sauce.  Then we played amusing word and guessing games! We drove back to my home for a festive tea of homemade mince pies, Viennese almond crescents and pecans dipped in dark chocolate. The tiny bobble hats contained a 70% cocoa Lindor chocolate ball. We drank green tea!

My daughter had fun with the Snapchat App and my grandson gave one of her big, fluffy cats a cuddle. Honey, lower right, was happy to have us home.

A beautiful quiet Boxing Day and catching up with a few lovely recorded TV programmes.
