Adult & juvenile Bald Eagle

I got up at 4 am and plugged in the crockpot with our Christmas dinner. Went back to bed for a short nap.

Up at 5:30 for present opening and to call and talk to my parents in Orkney.

We then headed to the power plant to give the guys that were working today their goody boxes.

Awww now to ride around Sutton Lake and see what wildlife was out and about. At first I was a little disappointed at just how quiet things were but then we got a very rare show. Two adult and a juvenile Bald Eagle were playing in the sky over the lake and we got to sit and watch them. I have put all my Bald Eagle photos in the extras.

When we got home about 1 pm the house smelled wonderful with the aroma of the casserole in the crockpot and the taste didn’t disappoint either.

We had a quiet afternoon and I napped a good bit.
