Christmas Day!

The kids had promised to only wake us at 7 - and so (to the second) they did - although I’d got up slightly earlier to have a shower to make sure I was ready to get up to church for 8 to do the livestream (which they came and joined me through).

Then Sam was off to coordinate the kitchen - cooking a Christmas meal for just under 70. We stuck around to say hello to all the people arriving for 10:30 then popped quickly home to walk the poor neglected dog.

Back in time to chat to some more of the 10:30 folk after the service - then onto the Christmas meal - which went very smoothly and seemed to be enjoyed!

Took kids home after pass the parcel - think they’d socialised to the max! Had a brief pause and then a welcome walk to Andy and Gaynor’s for more food - thanks to Zac. Then an abundance of gifts from family… need to get rid of clothes kids have grown out of before they put these things away!

Finished off with an early night!
