Trees, with a Twist...

Dull morning, quick snap, then half an hour meddling in Photoshop CS5.

Now, I very rarely manipulate an image using pre-set 'effects' in Photoshop, as the majority either look totally naff or just make the image look worse. What's the point of that?

So, after black and white conversion, an inversion (as in 'negative' image), a cross-hatching type of artistic effect and then 'printing' onto 'canvas'. Finally, a slight blue photo-filter and probably a few other bits that I've already forgotten about!

So, definitely an arty effect that you may or might not like. At the end of the day though, it was fun and helped me get to know what different PS effects there are. It also got a flat and unexciting image into something, hopefully, a lot more. You just won't catch me doing it very often, though!
