Boxing Day

Quite simply the best mince pies (imho) from our local bakery in Grange.  Tasty and quite addictive.  I won't own up to how many packs of 6  we have bought this year.

I have just made a tiramisu for dessert today.  Haven't made that since the 1990s.  

No 1 son is currently travelling up the M6 with girlfriend and this is one of her favourite puds, I gather.  We have met her a handful if times but this will be the first time she comes and stays with us.  Gulp.

PS the plate is one from my Nan's tea set she bought when she got engaged.  Must have been early 1930s.  Still miss her.
