The Cedar Tree….

Whilst out walking in the rain with Maisie early this morning I came across this beautiful Cedar tree. I had to pass it as Maisie and I walked up a path from the Taylor River Reserve to the walkway on the High Street bridge. I had not noticed the tree before but I fell in love with it and its many magically intricate cones. I believe the botanical name is “Cedrus brevifolia” or Cyprian Cedar.
It is fun having family members to stay over Christmas. We have been busy but found time to chill out and have some laughs. My gratitude for today is my family. Arohanui.
