Boxing Day

....and a very warm one it has been, at 30C plus.
We drove over late morning to spend the day at my granddaughter's husbands family house with the large extended family gathered there. I think eighteen adults and twelve children of various ages. The pool entertained them most of the afternoon, and a wonderful spread of food was laid out for us. Father Christmas even visited, there were Secret Santa gifts for everyone,  scratch cards, and pin the carrot on the reindeer! It was all great fun and something I'm not at all used to, but I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the effort that went into the party.
Home now, and all tired. Early night calls and family are visiting again tomorrow.  First though, I am going to watch the very final, final, of Gavin and Stacey!!
