Christmas 2024

Apart from the slightly frantic half hour of cooking before serving up the big dinner, it’s been a lovely relaxed Christmas Day. The food was delicious even though I only realised the red cabbage dish was still in the microwave just as everyone was getting to the end of their meals, but we found a bit more space. Also the chicken was smaller than expected (1.7kg for future me to note), but there’s just about enough leftovers for two of us tomorrow. Then some games were played, some presents opened - a lovely day. Happy Christmas to all!
