Nostalgia

After a harrowing day dealing domestic problems of a most unpleasant nature (sewage)! I stayed the night with my sister. I was able to catch up with friends at our regular Monday night gathering but as tonight was cheese & wine I travelled back to 'the Shields' by train. Walking to the station and waiting for the train reminded me of travelling to school from this station for 13 years. In those days there was a ticket office & waiting room (of course) and the trains ran on time (especially in the morning!).
