Veil

As usual for me, a quiet start to Christmas until 17yo and 20yo joined me late afternoon. Thereafter it was still pretty quiet, but a bit more companionable. Each had brought me a lovely gift, and hopefully mine to them went down ok given I still haven’t really made the transition to getting them grown-up presents!

I popped out for a walk before lunch; said hello to the horses and the squirrels. I find it difficult to motivate myself to prepare a Christmas lunch for myself, but managed a parsnip & lentil bake with sprouts.

I hope you all had a good day. It will soon be time to draw a veil over 2024, this grey horse looks like it’s made a head start.
