Happy Christmas from me and my friend Janice (yes, another) in Nottingham. Lots of fabulous cooking from both of us, from the Jerusalem cookbook from me, and a salmon over white bean mash and fennel recipe from Jan.

We walked to Wollaton Park and around the lake this morning, a walk of 3.5 miles, before we again descended into hours of ridiculous chitchat and talking bollocks which has been great. Our evening finished with the Gavin and Stacey Finale which we both thoroughly enjoyed.

I'll be leaving Jan's tomorrow sometime, but it's been a fabulous Christmas catchup.
