Sometimes it's the Little Things

... That make your day!

We have had a gentle Christmas Day.  After a late night, everyone slept in a bit.  Lunch was a reprise of yesterday with freshly cooked trimmings.   John, Louise's dad, popped in to collect a food for himself and her mum who was sadly not up to joining us today.   This year, more than most, presents matter less than presence but we all swapped little gifts.  After lunch we all slept.

A teatime video chat with my sister, whose Birthday it is today, and other family members, then a continuation of the quiet family day.  We've kept the telly highlights to catch up on another time, notably Wallace and Gromit, our family time taking precedence over all else ... and we had slept so long this afternoon that the time ran out!

Meg spent much of the lunchtime meal under the middle of the table, hoping for crumbs.  As we finished and I sat back, a little nose appeared :-)
