Wednesday: Christmas Lights

It’s been a lovely Christmas Day with all the elements you’d expect.  We prepped for dinner, following which we went to the pub for a drink before lunch.  All the usual crowd were in so it was a chance to wish everyone happy Christmas.  When we lived in the neighbourhood years ago locals got a free pint at the pub on Christmas Day but those days have passed.

We then headed back for presents and a feast of a dinner, lamb for K and myself, nut roast for J&J.

We  fell into a food coma so, by popular vote, watched ‘Four Weddings And A Funeral’ which we hadn’t seen for years.  A neighbourhood walk to get some fresh air (and a blip) was followed by the ‘Call The Midwife’ Christmas special.

It’s been a most excellent day.
