Rhine Falls

Homeward bound after my Spa week sojourn. Instead of taking the direct route home, headed first to the nearby source of the Danube at Donaueschingen, then drive south into Switzerland to see Rhine Falls at Neuhausen and then along southern edge of Lake Constance to Bregenz in Austria before heading home.

Glorious weather & nice to have done Danube & Rhine visits, both firsts for me. Beauty of living in a part of Europe where such travel can be so easily spontaneous. Didn't need to think about having any extra papers with me & could use Swiss motorways as hadn't bought the annual toll pass in July for a trip to Italy. I could just as easily have used non-toll roads.
