On the 1st Day of Christmas

We had a delicious brunch with Joke and Peter today. We stayed with them until 15:00 o’clock.

We didn’t do much the rest of the day besides packing our bags for Rome and checking in for our flight.

For the evening dinner I’d prepared Limburgs Zoervleisj and a lava cake for dessert.

We also received the sad message that our uncle Joop, my dads best friend, passed away this morning. That news brought back lots of memories and it had quite some impact the rest of the day.
