Christmas Day..

This little paper crib sits in the tree and is probably my favourite.
Lydia, John and Alicia are here from Kent.
Alicia was so happy that Father Christmas came to her house.
And left just what she wished for.. strawberry lip balm.
She came with little presents that she had picked herself and gave the reasons why she had picked them.I must admit it was very moving to listen to her explanations of why she had picked them.
What a thoughtful child she is… Grandad got a waddling penquin, cos he’s funny!
I got a hairbrush to use when I dry my hair as she loves watching me do it after a shower. She used her pocket money and a few hours in the Pound Shop walking around thinking what to get.. with no parental input.
I really did find it very moving, for a four year old.
It’s been busy, tiring but very relaxed.. well, everybody is very relaxed.. . I will be soon!
