Bang on Time

My 2 Xmas Cacti, one white, the other (blipped) red are flowering on time. The white one is 'elderly' but giving the best show ever. The red is a mere babe.

On the phone all morning. Everytime I planned to shower, another distraction. And a neighbour popped by with a bag of coffee from a recent trip to Germany. So invited him in.

Finally dressed at 2pm. We went for a walk into town. Another remarkably mild day, but damp and overcast. Passed a couple of folk in T's. I was too hot in my coat again.

A few walking on the beach, and in town. We were lucky to get a bus back (there was a ½ hourly service).

Mr B prepared a quick, but excellent 'Xmas lunch' when we returned. Roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, parsnips - his with chicken drumsticks - mine with a vegan burger (no bun). With a glass of Aspall cider of course.

Watched a Wallace & Gromit "Vengeance Most Fowl".
