Northey Island run

Made the most of the clear weather today with a run to Norther Island. The run was good. A bitter cold wind kept me from overheating and kept me from stopping for too long (ear muffs would have been useful), but the sky was clear and the paths were not too bad, with the added bonus of a great view across the Blackwater towards Heybridge. Plus loads of wintering birds to see. So good.

Later I did a fair bit of housework,  so feel more prepared for Christmas. 

The evening was spent collecting a food order from M & S  and going to the cinema to watch the Alan Rickman, Die Hard film. Last time I saw that I was single and watched it at a friend's house on  a loaned video from ####
