A very different Christmas lunch experience for us …. Saltburn Pier! And what a delightful place this is, especially when the sun shines. We usually attend church on Christmas mornings, looking back 2000 years. Today we went to the Jurassic beach and looked back even further. Mary found a Gryphaea, commonly known as Devil’s Toenail, a fossil dating back about 200 million years!
