Chessington World of Adventures

We have a theme park on our doorstep, and I drive past it on my commute to work and when I see my parents, so our children are fully aware of it as well.

With four children, divide and conquer was the way forward. I took the youngest two to see the Moshi Monsters, Sealife and the zoo, meeting up for lunch at Madagascar Live.

I bought some fast track tickets so we could quickly tackle the roller coasters. Turns out my daughter is the thrillseeker, as she managed Dragons Fury three times and the Vampire ride once.

Logistically, I'd want the older two to be 1.3 metres tall before doing it again, as it would allow them to go on most of the ride unaccompanied. That said the height restrictions are much lower in Hong Kong, so our planned trip in 2015 will allow them to tackle pretty much all the rides in Disneyland and Ocean Park.
