Merry Christmas
Last night, we had another surprise visit from some carolers. Kim and Jamie’s families came by and sang to us. It was special. They visited for a bit; I really enjoyed it. This is the most relaxed I have ever felt on Christmas Eve. Hubby and I actually had time to sit before our guests arrived. Kim put together some fun games and everyone participated. Parker, Peyton and Brooklyn went to an early church service so others played games or enjoyed the apps until they got back. Renee picked up lunch - as usual, we ordered too much but everyone took home enough leftovers to have a second meal. The gifts were wonderful as usual and everyone was appreciative. There were a few tears when they opened the ornaments to remember their father my sister and I made for everyone. Billy kept Isla at home. He used the quiet time to wrap gifts so he was happy. Lauren took him a nice plate. We celebrated Skylar’s 20th birthday before it was time for 6:00 pm Mass. We made a short visit to Jamie’s so we could see Billy and Isla. We have had our RSV vaccines so we aren’t worried. Hubby came home to make bread for our lunch at Kristen’s. I’ll make the Caesar salad in the morning. I also plan to take scones to take to breakfast at Jamie’s. We will go visit our mother between 10:00 and noon and then go to Kristen’s. Kim and Mancil said they have all they need for our dinner. Wishing you a blessed and joyful day tomorrow with those you love. “Life is the season for loving and caring, for laughing and caroling, giving and sharing. Christmas is meant for the same, people say, which makes life like Christmastime every day” — Richelle E. Goodrich
