Just a Peek

This was as near as I got to seeing the sun today. Just a narrow slither right on the horizon.

A localised temporary glow around the SW horizon for about 15 minutes plus a smaller patch further to the west ('extra').  Zooming in with my telephoto lens made it look much more impressive.

After that, a totally grey day. :-(
