Christmas Eve

We always do the Christmas meal on Christmas Eve - my mum is orginally from Germany & we did it for her. This has been the same for a very long time. We have the meal at my elderly aunt & uncle's house & they always make lovely food. We open presents & so on. My nephew Sam is giving presents out in the photo & my aunt on the right.

A lovely evening as per usual but we finish a bit earlier now than we used to. My 90 year old mum lasted until about 9:15pm & then I drove her home. I'm always the taxi driver around Christmas.

Tomorrow we meet again at my sister's house for more of the same, but a different meal. I'm breaking with tradition this year by going for a walk with some friends & eating a Xmas picnic rather than another full meal. I'll go and see my family, just decided to eat differentlly on Christmas Day this year....
