Christmas Eve - Hidden bedlam!

What a nice, calm, picture this shows with Marlane and I entertaining our friends Kim and Ian.
Behind the camera is our daughter Johanna, and behind her there is four young girls, our twins and Kim and Ian's two granddaughters with their parents Frank and Natasha. So this calm photograph belies the bedlam that is going on behind the scenes, and it got worse when Julia got her Karaoke machine out and made us all sing songs. In the case of myself and Marlane it was 'Loving You' by Minnie Ripperton. I hope you can't imagine what it sounded like, it was pretty awful!
Earlier in the day we'd also had Daniel, Buddy, Hendrix, Daniels friend Becky and three of her children but they left a bit earlier in the afternoon.
Marlane prepared quite a spread including her famous quiche's. I did help but she's the master at entertaining.
Now it's 21:45, the girls are asleep after some nefarious skulduggery involving some sleigh-bells to make them think they heard 'him' arriving. Never seen nighties go on so fast for a very long time. 
Now for the sneaking in with bags in an hour or so.
The extra is Ian doing one of his turns on the Karaoke machine with his granddaughter Trinity and our girl Hetty.
