A win at Apples to Apples.  Not sure what the adjectives say about me.

C joined us for a meal, chat and a couple of light social games - the other being Detective Club.  Otherwise, a bit of wrapping and stuff having, after many decades, got ourselves organised enough not to be doing it at midnight on the 24th.  I guess that makes us neat and saintly, rather than the previously wild and senseless.

It's helped by M&C suggesting a couple of years ago that we deploy a "Secret Santa" arrangement within the family, with a fixed moderate budget - thereby reducing the gift search trauma, and cost, by a factor of at least seven!
