Christmas Eve end of an era

Over the last 10 years or so we have enjoyed many a party at The Guildhall in Linton with our friends Frances and Bill Bickerstaff.  They have been more than generous with their beautiful house, including lending it to the Linton Children's Book festival for Garden story times.  

Frances is a member of the same book group as me, and Bill is part of the men's skiing group with Martin,  Latterly we have regularly enjoyed their warm hospitality on Christmas Eve, lovely food, people and music,  and will really miss them as they are moving to Cambridge in the New Year.
